Do I really need to get a pest report as well as a building report?

Yes. Termites currently attack 1 in every 5 homes and this rate is increasing. The damage caused by termites each year in Australia exceeds the value of damage caused by all forms of natural disaster combined. That's why we strongly recommend that you obtain a pest report in addition to your building report.

We are not in a position to give you this advice as we are not aware of all aspects of your intended purchase or your financial position.

However, our reports will give you a feel for likely problems and expenses that you may encounter should you purchase the property. This is invaluable information to assist you in deciding if your planned purchase represents value for money.
